Thank you to all my friends and family who came to celebrate the soon arrival of baby Michael! Michael and I feel so blessed to be able to bring a baby into this world who will be surrounded by so much love and support! The shower was amazing! All the wonderful decor and goodies were clearly planned from the heart! Thank you Pamela, Brittney, Jeanette, and Andrea for all of your hard work and dedication to our amazing day! On Tuesday Ali and Gretchen came to visit. It was so nice to see friends and Ali's beautiful baby girl Isla! Gretchen is patiently awaiting her little one who is due any day. We thought we would flaunt our bulging bellies before baby Charlotte comes!

Papa builds for baby...

Baby Michael's Crib!

Like every loving papa, Michael has assembled the baby's crib! We have a long way to go, but slowly the nursery is coming along. My mom helped hold the pieces while Michael attached them. (Thank you Grandma!) And in no time at all, we had the beginnings of our "Pooh Corner" for our little Pooh Bear! Good job Papa!

Baby said "Slow Down Mama!!"

Last Thursday Baby Michael was having a lazy day, so mama went to the hospital just to make sure he was ok. What was supposed to be a short visit turned into a 5 night stay in labor and delivery. It turned out that those 3rd trimester aches and pains were actually contractions! (And not the kind you are supposed to ignore!!) So, after lots of shots and medication we went home on bed rest. The doctor would like to get us to 34 weeks, preferably 36. She even mentioned that sometimes meds could make us go past our due date! So in a couple of weeks we will stop the meds and let Baby Michael come as he wishes. Meanwhile we will take it day by day...
